Free Wine!We enjoyed giving away wine so much last year that we have decided to do it again. Just spend $100 at Kaiwaka Cheese Shop in December and we will give you a bottle of wine* (spend $200 for two bottles, etc. etc.!). There are a number of wines to choose from including reds, whites, rose & sparkling.

Our History The Kaiwaka Cheese Shop is located on State Highway 1, just 20 kms north of wellsford and has been a landmark on the route north from Auckland for a number of years. The shop was founded in 1989 by Art & Maria who owned the nearby cheese factory. Originating from Holland, it was natural for A&M to start selling Dutch foods and so the shop grew. In time becoming one of a group of six franchises specialising in Dutch cheese and groceries. Nowadays, the shop is independently owned and operated and stocks a wide range of cheeses from around New Zealand, Holland, France and Switzerland. Gouda is still the mainstay of the cheese range but with over fifty different cheeses to choose from, there is something to suit every tase. |
